Currently 1,300 children are in foster care in Denver.

In 2006 Denver CASA had 71 volunteers who served 230 children.

Our CASA volunteers range in age from 21 to over 70.

Most of our volunteers work full-time as teachers, lawyers, caterers, engineers, salespeople and business owners.

Some of our volunteers work part-time, and many others are students, retirees, community volunteers and full-time parents.

Denver CASA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with 4 staff members. We maintain quality standards of a maximum of 30 CASA volunteers per case supervisor.

Denver CASA offers training three times per year.

There are hundreds of children in the Denver Juvenile Court system waiting for a CASA volunteer.
