Press Releases Media Inquiries: Denver CASA Announces a New Program Director Denver, CO Robin L. Balick, LCSW, has joined Denver CASA as the new Program Director beginning January 3, 2005. Ms. Balick will oversee the organization�s volunteer program development as well as work to form strong partnerships with local community agencies. Prior to joining Denver CASA, Ms. Balick operated a private psychotherapy practice in which she provided mental health counseling to adults and adolescents. Ms. Balick was also employed by Denver Human Services as a senior social caseworker so she has seen first hand the needs of abused and neglected children involved in the system. Ms. Balick is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Colorado. She holds a masters degree in social work from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, Bryn Mawr, PA. Ms. Balick brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to this position and looks forward to developing a program that provides a clear and powerful voice for Denver CASA's children as well as assisting the community in making the best decisions on their behalf. Denver CASA, a 501(c)(3) organization, recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA's) to speak up for child victims of abuse and neglect in the Denver Juvenile Court. Denver CASA’s Board, staff, and volunteers are dedicated individuals who work diligently to serve these children.
